ABOUT US

The CAIRNE Oslo office officially opened the 3rd of June, 2021. The Oslo Office is hosted by Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium (NORA), and the office is responsible for CAIRNE activities in Norway and the Nordic region.

NORA – the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Research Consortium – consists of 17 universities, university colleges and research institutions in Norway. The consortium works to strengthen collaboration –  both within the Norwegian research community, and in the Nordics through the Nordic AI Research, Education and Innovation Partnership (Nordic AIR). In addition to arranging national conferences, seminars and dataset competitions like the Norwegian AI Championship (NMiKI), NORA is also the main organiser of NordicAIMeet, a symposium for young researchers and PhDs.

NORA is also involved in Nemonoor, Norwegian AI Cloud, ENACT and other projects.
