23-27.03.26 | European Robotics Forum 2026

The European Robotics Forum 2026 (ERF 2026) will take place from 23–27 March 2026 in Stavanger, Norway, bringing together Europe’s robotics and artificial intelligence communities for one of the continent’s most influential annual gatherings in the field.

Organised by euRobotics together with Norwegian research institutes NORCE and SINTEF, ERF serves as a central meeting point for researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators working at the intersection of robotics and AI. Each year, the forum gathers more than a thousand participants from across Europe and beyond to exchange ideas, showcase emerging technologies, and explore future directions for robotics innovation.

The 2026 edition will be hosted in Stavanger, a region known for its strong industrial ecosystem and investment in energy transformation and digital innovation. Reflecting the host region’s strengths, ERF 2026 will focus on the theme “Robotics for the Blue Economy and Growth in Space,” highlighting how robotics and AI can contribute to sustainable ocean technologies, maritime industries, and future space exploration.

The programme will include workshops, an industrial scientific track, exhibitions, networking events, and lab visits, offering participants opportunities to discuss advances in autonomous systems, robotics applications across sectors, and the broader role of AI-driven technologies in Europe’s industrial and research landscape.

As robotics and artificial intelligence become increasingly interconnected, events such as ERF play an important role in strengthening collaboration across Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem. CAIRNE looks forward to engaging with the robotics community at ERF 2026 and continuing to support dialogue between AI research, industry, and policy stakeholders across Europe.
